How we print together
These rules cover the forum, the community gallery and reviews. They exist so ML3D UK stays a place where makers of every level get real help and real feedback.
RULE 01
Be decent to each other
Critique the print, not the person. Beginners ask beginner questions here — that's what the forum is for. Harassment, slurs and personal attacks are removed on sight.
RULE 02
Respect intellectual property
Only share files and photos you have the right to share. Models ripped from paid marketplaces or licensed IPs will be taken down, and repeat uploads risk an account ban.
RULE 03
No harmful or illegal content
No weapons, firearm components, or anything illegal to produce or possess in the UK. No NSFW content in the gallery or forum.
RULE 04
Keep posts in the right board
Materials talk goes in Materials & Filament, help requests in Help & Troubleshooting, finished work in Showcase. It keeps answers findable for the next person with your problem.
RULE 05
Self-promotion, in moderation
Sharing your own shop or YouTube channel is fine when it's part of a genuine contribution — not as your only activity. Affiliate links must be disclosed.
RULE 06
Report, don't retaliate
If a post breaks a rule, report it to the mods or open a support ticket. Responding in kind just gets two people moderated instead of one.
Enforcement
Moderation follows a simple ladder: a warning for a first slip, content removal and a temporary posting ban for repeats, and a permanent account ban for serious or persistent violations. Admins can lock threads and remove gallery posts that break these rules. If you think a call was wrong, open a support ticket and a second moderator will review it.
Need to report something?
Use the report button on forum posts, or send us the details directly — the fastest route is a support ticket with a link to the content.
