Somerset Pavilion
A 1:20 structural-topology model of a 12m timber-grid pavilion, printed as four keyed sections and bonded on-site for a RIBA exhibition.
The Challenge
The original CAD model carried 1.4M faces and needed to survive 6 weeks of public handling without a visible support scar.
Our Solution
We re-meshed the form into four load-aligned sections, oriented each to hide supports inside the joints, and ran PA-CF for stiffness-to-weight.
